Agency Giving Search Authority Where does your agency get its legal authority to search? If your agency, by Statue, specifically has the legal authority to conduct searches then put “self” in Agency Name (example FEMA.) For most local groups your legal authority to search comes from your Sheriff’s Office, Police Department, State SAR office or similar governmental organization. Please provide that information.
